Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: Contact us via phone at 704-332-6159 or via email through the "Reservation Request" link on this site. After confirming your initial details with our representative, the next step is to transact a deposit in the amount of $25.00 per person. (For security, DO NOT supply any of your credit card information via email, we will transact the deposit directly over the phone.) Once the deposit has been collected, that will secure the seats for your party, then the deposit will be deducted from your party's final total here the night of your event.

Q: Do you offer gift certificates?
A: We have two packages that we offer as gift certificates. The first is an "All-Inclusive" package that covers the costs of 2 six-course meals, alcohol with the meal, taxes, and gratuity, which is valued at $425.00. The second package is an "Alcohol Excluded" certificate, which covers the costs of the two six-course meals, taxes and gratuity. Any charges associated with alcohol will be left up to your guests to settle with us that night. The "Alcohol Excluded" package has a value of $250.00. The gift certificates will be printed on a presentation-style certificate that we can mail to you to present or to your guests directly. Gift Certificates are valid from up to one year from the date of purchase, which will give your guests flexibility in scheduling reservations with us. Q: Are you serving during the holidays?
A: At McNinch House, we are known for making holiday occasions that much more memorable for you and your guests. Each year in December, we expand our availability to seven days a week. Our biggest celebrations also include New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day. If you are interested in joining us for a holiday, please contact us at 704-332-6159.

Q: How many can you accommodate?
A: Anywhere from tables just for 2 up to 34 for a single group. Generally, we never take more than 9 tables or 26 people per evening.

Q: How far in advance should I make reservations?
(I've heard it's months...)

A: In general, we ask for you to contact us as soon as you know the date, so that we may be able to accommodate you on the night you wish.

Q: Are weekend reservations on Friday or Saturday impossible to get?
A: Obviously the weekends are our hottest commodity each week and usually fill up first. If you are looking to join us on a Friday or Saturday, we recommend you contact us the week prior, so that we may be able to accommodate you.

Q: When are your seating times?
A: We seat on the half-hour beginning at 6:30 pm.

Q: How long does the dinner last?
A: The six-course meal and the accompanying experience is definitely an evening unto itself in that the meal usually lasts an average of 3-3½ hours.

Q: What are the costs for dinner?
A: There is a fixed price on the meal itself, which is currently $89.00 per person. Wine pairings are offered at $75.00 per person or you may select from our wine list. In addition, there are the costs associated with taxes and gratuity (20%).

Q: What are the costs if I don't drink alcohol?
A: With the fixed price of $89.00, plus taxes and gratuity (20%).

Q: Do you have a dress code?
A: We have a dress code that requires jackets for gentlemen, (tie at your option) - ladies, something classy, please. We also offer valet parking, and we do not allow cell phones in the dining room. (If you must have them, turn the ringer off or to vibrate and answer the call away from the table.

Q: Do you have a wine list?
A: We do have a "wine list"; however, we have a huge reputation for matching multiple wines with the courses for the "ultimate" in food and wine pairings.

Q: Do you allow guests to bring in their own wine?
A: As described above, we really focus on providing the "ultimate" in food and wine pairings. However, exceptions can be made at our discretion.

Q: Do you serve lunch?
A: No.

Q: Do you have private dining rooms?

Q: Do you offer any other private dining options?
A: By nature, all of our dining rooms are private. Each of the three rooms we use for dining rooms can be made private in that we have original pocket doors made of oak that can be used to seal off the rooms as needed.
